Thus, two countries have a decisive influence on the formation of horror and topics in the world-Japan and America. It is between the creations of developers from these countries that we will move during the narrative, not forgetting, however, about domestic games.

Game Haunted House 1981, released for the Atari 2600 prefix, is considered the founder of the Survival Horror genre.
